Brett Dunne grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois before joining the Navy. As a Corpsman stationed in Virginia, he worked in the Department of Neurosurgery. By the age of 21, Brett was assisting with emergency head-trauma surgeries and served as the Senior Corpsman for the Neurosurgery ICU, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure situations.
In 1981, Brett moved to California, and by 1988, he owned his first business. For more than a decade, real estate has been his primary focus and passion. His diverse background enriches his clients’ experience by combining innovative marketing strategies, expert negotiation skills, and specialized high-end property marketing expertise.
The DayBreak Group is composed not only of seasoned Realtors but also professionals who bring valuable additional strengths to every stage of the process—from pre-marketing and marketing to negotiations and closing. The team’s skill sets include a Notary, Interior Designer, and General Contractor, offering clients comprehensive support. Additionally, the group is multilingual, speaking Spanish and Italian, which broadens their reach and ability to serve a diverse clientele.
Brett has also served as the Broker of Record for his Keller Williams office, overseeing and managing more than 45 real estate agents. He held leadership roles in both the KW Luxury and KW Global Property Specialists divisions—prestigious groups representing the top-performing Keller Williams agents. Brett is one of the select few to earn distinction in both categories, highlighting his exceptional expertise.
He holds the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation awarded by the National Association of Realtors. This prestigious global credential empowers Brett to market properties effectively to influential clients throughout the United States and internationally.
